Description

You will manage the maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of agency-level cloud environments across Azure and AWS. You own the release and incident lifecycle, ensuring system reliability and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Monitor application workloads and system performance by creating, modifying, and managing cloud alerts.
• Lead Major Incident Management (MIM) for priority 1 incidents, including coordination, documentation, and root cause analysis.
• Execute patch management for cluster environments, specifically Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Kubernetes.
• Resolve cloud security alerts, ensure compliance with security requirements, and manage certificate renewals.
• Implement automated remediation for recurring incidents and develop advanced automation sequences.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience as a System Engineer or Cloud Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• In-depth knowledge of networking and connectivity via AWS Direct Connect or Azure ExpressRoute.
• Experience managing security controls and compliance within large enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and SQL queries.
• Ability to provide after-hours support for cloud service operations.
• Strong organizational and change management skills.
• Must pass an extensive background check.

Preferred Skills

• Administrator certifications in Azure and/or AWS.
