You will ensure platform uptime and drive operational improvements for our customer base.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with global Cloud Operations Engineers to guarantee uptime for Atlas customers.
• Design and deploy systems that reduce Mean Time to Resolve for customer incidents.
• Monitor and detect customer-facing incidents, assisting with proactive resolution.
• Diagnose live incidents, differentiating platform versus usage issues, and driving resolution steps.
• Scale the Cloud Operations Engineering team by implementing and refining new processes and tools.

Required Skills

• 2+ years experience as an on-call DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Operations engineer.
• Expertise in Linux system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting on system performance data.
• Knowledge of database operations and core concepts.
• Expertise with networking technologies, including DNS and TCP/IP.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services and other cloud platforms (GCP, Azure).
• Capability to write small programs or scripts to solve system problems.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Go, Python, or Javascript.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of MongoDB or Splunk.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
