Description

You will manage and maintain global cloud infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cloud health and provide first response to issues impacting customer experience.
• Troubleshoot complex problems involving systems, networking, and storage at scale.
• Automate operational processes and build tools to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate operational work across teams to improve the platform with minimal impact.
• Research and resolve issues ranging from individual droplets to cloud-wide disturbances.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in system administration or cloud operations.
• Strong proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Solid understanding of IPv4 networking and troubleshooting, equivalent to CCNA level.
• Experience scripting in Bash, Python, or Ruby.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies and troubleshooting virtual machine instances.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies and troubleshooting containers.
• Knowledge of basic storage concepts and technologies.
• Experience using monitoring systems and incident management processes.
• Experience with configuration management systems.
