Description

You will manage xPaaS infrastructure and support internal customer applications in a large-scale production environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Jira stories, bugs, ITSM incidents, changes, and problem tickets to support infrastructure operations.
• Maintain high availability across all environments to meet SLAs and OLAs.
• Execute production support for servers, network, storage, security, and distributed middleware/caching tiers.
• Apply ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Asset, and Configuration management.
• Partner with cloud engineering teams and product managers to support an evolving platform.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of industry experience with 5-7 years of relevant production operations experience.
• Hands-on experience with IaaS, PaaS, and Cloud technologies.
• In-depth Linux system engineering and functionality knowledge.
• Proficiency in web technologies including HTTP, headers, authentication, SSL, routers, and load balancing.
• Experience with Jira, Git, Jenkins, and Maven.
• Medium-level expertise in Python, shell scripting, Rest API, Java, or J2EE.
• Deployment and troubleshooting expertise in at least two of the following: Kafka, Redis, or Elasticsearch.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Splunk, Prometheus, or Ansible.
