Description

You will be a lead contributor optimizing the performance of the infrastructure and application portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze performance across compute, I/O, storage, and efficiency metrics for all services and server instances.
• Champion application workload optimization by setting best practices for efficient cloud infrastructure use with stakeholders.
• Optimize performance for software components including operating systems, containers, databases, and analytics in the cloud.
• Drive operational efficiencies and optimize mean-time-to-root-cause (MTRC) using analytics and continuous improvement.
• Perform in-depth analysis with profiling tools to locate hotspots and opportunities to improve product performance.
• Provide technical consulting and mentoring on optimization techniques and architecture standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on performance engineering experience.
• Strong architectural concepts in Cloud Computing and IT Infrastructure operations.
• Deep understanding of Cloud server platforms, including bare metal and virtualized environments.
• Experience creating optimal infrastructure configurations and optimization recommendations for various workloads (on-premises and Cloud).
• Extensive knowledge of Observability, Event Management, and AIOPS principles.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and how to apply them in practice.
• Experience with performance profiling tools.
• Experience developing dashboards using analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI).
