Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS, focusing on networking, security, and platform reliability. You own the release pipeline and ensure seamless integration of containerized workloads.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage complex AWS networking, including VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and Route 53.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK to ensure reproducible environments.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS.
• Develop automation scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to streamline operational tasks.
• Troubleshoot distributed systems issues and optimize performance across core AWS services.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud and platform engineering.
• Deep expertise in AWS networking: VPC, IGW, NAT, Transit Gateway, VPN, Direct Connect, ALB/NLB, Global Accelerator, Network Firewall, WAF, Shield, Private Link, VPC Endpoints.
• Proficiency in core AWS services: EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, CIDR.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK.
• Proficiency in scripting/programming: Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containers and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, EKS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) and service mesh.
• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect – Professional, DevOps Engineer, Advanced Networking – Specialty).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and GitOps workflows.
