Description

You will provide technical support for Google Cloud Platform environments, focusing on troubleshooting and issue resolution.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues from initial identification through to final resolution.
• Respond to client queries regarding Google Cloud services and infrastructure.
• Analyze and interpret code in Python, R, and Java to resolve platform issues.
• Manage and support data workflows using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
• Own the stability of containerized workloads and automated pipelines.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of GCP support experience with a focus on troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and Java for code interpretation.
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Workflow, Batch, Dataproc, Cloud Run, and GCS.
• Working knowledge of VPC concepts, networking, monitoring, and logging.
• Experience with Docker containerization.
• Proficiency with Git, GitHub Actions, and PySpark.
• Familiarity with GCP Console and command-line tools.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a consulting environment.

Preferred Skills

• Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Data Engineer Certification.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for environment automation.
• Knowledge of Colibra or Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) for permission troubleshooting.
