Description

You will support client data and compute infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues involving BigQuery, Workflows, Batch, Dataproc, Dataflow, Cloud Run, and GCS.
• Support compute infrastructure needs including containerization, environment setup, and dependency management.
• Configure and optimize batch processing environments for specific client workloads.
• Automate environment setup and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Assist users with integration issues between platforms and enterprise tools like Microsoft Identity Manager and Colibra.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of support experience with GCP and technical troubleshooting.
• Deep understanding of BigQuery, Workflows, Batch, Dataproc, Dataflow, Cloud Run, and GCS.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, VPC concepts, and networking.
• Proficiency in interpreting Python, R, and Java code.
• Experience with containerization using Docker.
• Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub Actions, and PySpark.
• Familiarity with GCP Console and command-line tools.
• Proven ability to own complex technical issues from identification to resolution.

Preferred Skills

• Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Data Engineer Certifications.
• Experience with Colibra or Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM).
• Experience automating environments through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
