Description

You will lead and manage multiple application migration projects while ensuring the security and technical integrity of cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement infrastructure and application migration solutions, ranging from simple IT projects to large-scale enterprise programs.
  • Design and execute migration workflows that include technical steps for building or migrating infrastructure and application components.
  • Manage onshore and offshore resources, distributing responsibilities and reporting status to client stakeholders.
  • Conduct application architecture assessments to define solutions for complex technical problems.
  • Coordinate with client application owners and infrastructure teams to manage implementation plans, outage sequencing, and post-migration testing.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.
  • 4 years of experience leading architectural design, development, and deployment of service delivery systems.
  • 4 years of experience gathering business requirements and validating system architecture against technical specifications.
  • 4 years of experience utilizing ITIL, DevOps, and Agile frameworks.
  • 2 years of experience in Agile project management and IT quality processes within a validated environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
  • Technical knowledge of cloud computing platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience with data and database migration.
  • Experience managing compute infrastructure including servers, databases, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Proficiency with Linux and Windows system administration and cluster configuration.
  • Ability to travel domestically approximately 30% of the time.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience calculating and comparing as-is vs. to-be Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for cost reduction strategies.
