Description

You will lead multiple application migration projects, ensuring the security and technical integrity of cloud infrastructure while managing onshore and offshore resources.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement infrastructure and application migration solutions, from simple IT projects to large-scale enterprise programs.
• Design and execute migration workflows, including technical steps for building or migrating infrastructure and application components.
• Conduct application architecture assessments to define solutions for complex technical problems.
• Coordinate with client application owners and infrastructure teams to manage implementation plans, outage sequencing, and post-migration testing.
• Report status to client stakeholders and distribute responsibilities among onshore and offshore teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of progressive experience in the IT consulting industry.
• 4+ years leading architectural design, development, and deployment of service delivery systems.
• 4+ years gathering business requirements and validating system architecture against technical specifications.
• 4+ years utilizing ITIL, DevOps, and Agile frameworks.
• 2+ years in Agile project management and IT quality processes within a validated environment.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Technical knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience with data and database migration.
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows system administration and cluster configuration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience calculating and comparing as-is vs. to-be Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for cost reduction strategies.
