Description

You will secure AWS infrastructure by identifying vulnerabilities and remediating security issues in collaboration with development and DevOps teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Remediate security issues within existing AWS accounts and resources according to corporate standards and AWS best practices.
• Conduct security assessments to identify risks, assign owners, and implement mitigating controls.
• Develop and maintain secure cloud infrastructure, including OS patching, backups, monitoring, logging, and IAM management.
• Automate security processes and support infrastructure hardening for AWS services.
• Troubleshoot technical security issues and maintain documentation in Confluence.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of industry experience with a focus on securing AWS environments.
• Expertise in AWS security remediation for IAM, S3, Security Groups, NACL, IGW, NFW, VPC, and Endpoints.
• Deep understanding of AWS policy language and expertise writing JSON IAM and S3 policies.
• Hands-on experience with AWS account security auditing and scripting via AWS APIs (Boto3 or AWS CLI).
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking principles and compute infrastructure such as servers, databases, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash and Python.
• Experience with automation tools including Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline builds and cloud deployment automation.
• Practical experience using Jira for ticketing and project management.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Security Specialty and Cloud Solutions Architect Associate certifications or higher.
• Experience with Palo Alto Prisma Cloud CSPM, CWP, and AppSec.
