Description

You will design, implement, and maintain security solutions across complex cloud environments, owning the security infrastructure from configuration to deployment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and deploy security technologies including IPS, IDS, and vulnerability scanners.
• Automate security workflows using infrastructure as code and scripting languages.
• Utilize NetFlow and analytic methods to detect malicious network activity.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on security architecture and deployment.
• Administer related servers, databases, and network circuits while troubleshooting connectivity issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud security operations.
• Proficiency in scripting: Python, PowerShell, Bash, Golang, C, JS, or SQL.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools: Splunk, DataDog, NewRelic, or AppDynamics.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab or GitHub Actions.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or Ansible.
• Deep understanding of network architecture, protocols, and network mapping tools.
• Competency in managing relational and NoSQL databases.

Preferred Skills

• CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certifications.
• Prior experience with DOD or FedRAMP compliance.
