Description

You will design and secure cloud environments built on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop security architectures for GCP environments covering data protection, IAM, network security, and compliance.
• Design and implement security controls for virtual machines, containers, databases, and storage systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and drive remediation.
• Integrate security into DevOps pipelines to enable automated testing and continuous compliance monitoring.
• Lead incident response activities, including investigation, stakeholder coordination, and corrective action implementation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in security architecture or related roles.
• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security.
• Experience implementing IAM, network security, and data protection controls.
• Proven ability to secure containers, databases, and cloud storage.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps integration and automated security testing.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment and security auditing processes.
• Ability to manage incident response and remediation workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on GCP security best practices.
