Description

You will design and maintain secure cloud services tailored for federal compliance requirements. You own the architecture and implementation of FedRAMP and IL5 environments, ensuring strict adherence to DoD security standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain FedRAMP Moderate, High, and IL5 cloud services on AWS and Azure.
• Lead cross-functional engineering teams through FedRAMP and IL5 certification processes.
• Develop architectural blueprints, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps for cloud infrastructure.
• Create comprehensive designs for infrastructure, networking, data storage, security, and application integration.
• Define and enforce cloud security standards to ensure compliance with industry and federal regulations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Cloud/System Architecture experience.
• Proven experience navigating FedRAMP Moderate, High, and/or IL5 processes.
• Expertise with AWS cloud services.
• Working knowledge of Azure cloud services.
• Understanding of DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (CC-SRG) and DoD Secure Cloud Computing Architecture.
• Strong background in Network Security and DevOps practices.
• US Citizenship with the ability to possess or maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience/certifications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IL5 specific implementation details and controls.
• Advanced certifications in cloud security or architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty).
