Description

You will design and implement secure architecture patterns for cloud and hybrid environments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Enterprise Architects and development squads to build security architectures for applications migrating to the cloud.
• Establish and document secure design patterns, policies, procedures, and standards for cloud-based solutions.
• Drive the adoption of cloud security best practices and technologies within the enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, InfoSec, and application teams to resolve security-related issues.
• Assess vulnerabilities and identify control gaps to remediate risk across networks and systems.

Required Skills

• 10 years of total IT experience.
• 4+ years of experience as an Information Security Architect or Cloud Security Architect.
• 2-4 years of experience specifically in AWS as a Cloud Security Architect or Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Must hold at least one certification in a cloud technology or infrastructure.
• Proven ability to design and evaluate security systems and identify threats.
• Strong experience in risk assessment, including evaluating controls and conducting impact assessments.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills for documenting security architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NIST assessments of business applications.
• Container security experience for build and run-time workloads.
• API Security architecture experience using industry-standard gateways.
