Description

You will own the security posture and operational optimization of cloud infrastructure through automation and site reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen security posture and optimize operations through automation of repetitive tasks.
• Manage and respond to incidents, performing root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews.
• Design and scale systems with redundancy and fault tolerance to ensure reliability.
• Set, monitor, and maintain SLOs and SLAs for system reliability.
• Create clear documentation for systems, processes, and incident reports.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of program leadership or relevant consulting experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, or Ruby for automation and tooling.
• Deep understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems, file systems, and configurations.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP (EC2, S3, Kubernetes, serverless).
• Expertise in containerization with Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Understanding of networking concepts including DNS, firewalls, load balancing, and VPNs.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault and Terraform.
