Description

Own the vulnerability management lifecycle for cloud infrastructure, driving remediation and security posture improvement across AWS and GCP environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Validate, judge severity, and assess business impact of security vulnerabilities across cloud and container environments.
• Identify, scope, and prioritize remediation efforts to maintain and improve overall security posture.
• Prepare and distribute summary reports on security posture to engineering and leadership using custom dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strategize remediation priorities and track progress updates.
• Develop automation scripts in Python, Go, or Bash to streamline vulnerability tracking and remediation workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in vulnerability management and cloud security.
• Deep knowledge of AWS and Google Cloud infrastructure security and standards.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash scripting for automation.
• Experience with Splunk, SQL, and OSQuery for log analysis and data retrieval.
• Strong understanding of network, systems, web, and container security components.
• Ability to create custom reporting dashboards for security metrics.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with third-party cloud security tools and strategies.
• Background in managing multiple parallel vulnerability management activities.
