Cloud Security Engineer

Secure cloud infrastructure, container environments, and cloud-native applications across multi-cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage and secure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments using Wiz and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
• Implement container security strategies for Kubernetes and Docker.
• Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents within cloud environments.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediate risks across cloud assets and applications.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and workflows.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in cloud security engineering.
• Proficiency with Wiz and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker security.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Experience securing APIs, microservices, and serverless architectures.
• Ability to perform vulnerability assessments and risk analysis.
• Familiarity with incident response processes in cloud environments.
• Understanding of ISO 27001, SOC 2, and NIST compliance standards.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or CKS.
• Scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience with DoS and DDoS protection tools and DevSecOps integration.
