Description

You will own the security, compliance, and integrity of our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage security controls, policies, and standards within GCP environments.
• Manage GCP IAM roles and permissions to enforce least privilege access across all cloud resources.
• Investigate security incidents, analyze threats, and develop remediation procedures for cloud environments.
• Implement automated security monitoring using tools like Security Command Center, Cloud Armor, and VPC Service Controls.
• Integrate security into the development lifecycle by collaborating with cloud architects and DevOps teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT or Cybersecurity.
• 5+ years of dedicated experience focusing on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Deep expertise in GCP security tools including Cloud Identity, IAM, Security Command Center, VPC Service Controls, and Cloud Armor.
• Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes, containerized applications, and serverless environments.
• Proficiency in cloud security automation and scripting using Terraform, Python, and Shell scripting.
• Experience with security monitoring and SIEM systems such as Splunk, Datadog, or Stackdriver.
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks including GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS.
• Proven ability to manage change management planning and implementation processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification.
