Description

You will secure cloud environments and manage data protection mechanisms across multiple ecosystems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement data encryption methods and secure internet protocols to protect cloud data.
• Deploy and manage cloud-based security services to maintain a secure production environment.
• Evaluate and make trade-off decisions between security, cost, and deployment complexity.
• Manage security operations and mitigate risks within containerized and microservices architectures.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a Security Engineer or in a related position.
• CISSP certification is required.
• 3+ years of production deployment experience using cloud-based security services.
• Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience with container technology including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of specialized data classifications and cloud data protection mechanisms.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Major cloud-based security certification such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty.
• Experience with managed services like AWS MSK and MongoDB Atlas.
