Job Responsibilities include:
Conduct comprehensive security assessments of GCP environments to ensure alignment with enterprise security standards and compliance requirements.
Evaluate GCP architectures for secure identity, access control, network segmentation, and encryption strategies.
Implement and integrate GCP-native security tools such as Security Command Center and Event Threat Detection.
Review Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager) and GitHub configurations for security risks and policy compliance.
Map cloud implementations to regulatory frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS GCP Foundations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen cloud security posture and support governance and certification processes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (relevant certifications preferred).
5+ years of experience in cloud security with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Hands-on expertise in GCP services (IAM, VPC, GKE, Cloud KMS) and performing security assessments aligned with frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS benchmarks.
Proven experience reviewing Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and GitHub configurations, with strong knowledge of GCP-native security tools and policy compliance
