Strengthen security posture and optimize operations through automation and site reliability engineering.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
• Manage and respond to security incidents, performing root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews.
• Design systems with redundancy and fault tolerance to ensure resilience and scalability.
• Set, monitor, and maintain Service-Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service-Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document systems, processes, and incident reports.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in systems administration, cloud technologies, or infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, or Ruby for automation and tooling.
• Deep understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems, file systems, and configurations.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Chef for infrastructure management.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Understanding of networking concepts including DNS, firewalls, load balancing, and VPNs.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.

Preferred Skills

• Strong proficiency with HashiCorp Vault and Terraform.
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
