Description

You will secure and maintain the integrity of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure and services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage security controls, policies, and standards within GCP environments.
• Manage GCP IAM roles and permissions to enforce least privilege access.
• Investigate security incidents, detect threats, and develop cloud-specific incident response procedures.
• Implement automated security monitoring using Security Command Center, Cloud Armor, and VPC Service Controls.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT or Cybersecurity.
• 5+ years of dedicated experience focusing on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• In-depth knowledge of GCP infrastructure, services, and security features.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Identity, IAM, Cloud Security Command Center, VPC Service Controls, and Cloud Armor.
• Experience securing cloud-native applications, Kubernetes, and serverless environments.
• Proficiency in cloud security automation and scripting using Terraform, Python, or Shell.
• Familiarity with SIEM systems and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Datadog, or Stackdriver.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GCP security automation.

Preferred Skills

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification.
