Description

Lead cloud security initiatives as the primary subject matter expert, designing and deploying frameworks to protect infrastructure. You will engineer processes to mitigate control gaps and ensure compliance with security policies during network and systems design.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy security frameworks to protect cloud infrastructure.
• Engineer processes to mitigate control gaps and reduce vulnerability exposure.
• Triage security incidents as part of an on-call rotation.
• Coordinate with vendors for proof-of-concept and pilot exercises.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with partners to build security standards.

Required Skills

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Information Security.
• Strong working knowledge of GCP and GCVE.
• Deep understanding of the CSF Framework.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity practices, procedures, networking, and infrastructure best practices.
• Ability to manage risk and regulatory compliance topics.
• Review information systems to identify security weaknesses and recommend reductions.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related IT area.
• Experience with Azure.
• Industry certifications such as GCP or ACE.
