Secure cloud operations and architecture through policy development, automation, and continuous risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve security policies, procedures, and standards for cloud operations.
• Enhance cloud security control frameworks to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application development teams to design secure cloud architecture and improve security configurations.
• Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and continuous analysis of security controls to identify vulnerabilities.
• Design and develop automation scripts and tools to streamline security processes.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in cloud security, focusing on AWS or GCP.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages including Python, Bash, and JSON.
• Experience with Terraform or equivalent infrastructure-as-code technologies.
• 1+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines or security tooling for cloud-native deployments.
• Strong understanding of cloud security architecture, including IAM, networking, and data protection.
• Experience with Golang and source control best practices.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Ability to work on-site in Malvern, UK.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant certifications such as CCSK, AWS Certified Security, or Azure Security.
