Description

You will own the security, compliance, and integrity of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls, policies, and standards within GCP environments.
• Manage GCP IAM roles and permissions to enforce least privilege access.
• Investigate security incidents and develop response procedures for cloud environments.
• Implement automated security solutions and monitoring using GCP Security Command Center, Cloud Armor, and VPC Service Controls.
• Integrate security into the development lifecycle through collaboration with cloud architects and DevOps teams.

Required Skills

• 10 years of experience in IT or Cybersecurity.
• 5 years of dedicated focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Deep expertise in GCP security tools including Cloud Identity, IAM, VPC Service Controls, and Cloud Armor.
• Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes, containerization, and serverless environments.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Python, and Shell scripting for security automation.
• Experience with monitoring and SIEM tools such as Splunk, Datadog, and Stackdriver.
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks including GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification.
