Description

You will lead security efforts to design scalable and secure public cloud environments across multiple providers.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design secure cloud architectures and network configurations, including VPCs, subnets, and firewalls.
• Implement and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, enforcing MFA and role-based access controls.
• Deploy encryption mechanisms to protect data at rest and in transit while preventing unauthorized access.
• Automate security configurations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation within DevOps pipelines.
• Manage security monitoring tools to detect incidents and partner with Security Operations on incident response and forensics.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in cloud security or related engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Strong understanding of IAM, encryption, auditing, and authentication controls.
• Experience securing PaaS and IaaS deployments.
• Ability to read and develop Python and Bash scripts.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of serverless technologies and their security implications.
• Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and Cloud Workload Protection.

Preferred Skills

• Technical expertise in cloud storage, compute, databases, or AI/ML.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, AWS Certified Security - Specialist, or GIAC certifications.
