Description

You will split your time equally between Linux system-level security and cloud platform security.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Review platform changes for infrastructure security concerns and research potential vulnerabilities.
• Articulate security risks clearly to application teams.
• Support application teams from an infrastructure perspective to secure systems.
• Harden Linux environments and manage cloud security configurations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in security roles.
• 3+ years securing cloud platforms including IAM, VPC Security, and KMS.
• 3+ years hardening Linux environments using PAM, SELinux, SSHD, and auditd.
• 6+ years working with IaC and configuration management tools like Terraform and Puppet.
• Strong Linux and system-level security expertise.
• Knowledge of basic cryptography and common network protocols.
• Basic understanding of containers and Kubernetes (k8s).
