Description

You will build detection tools and pipelines for the OpenKyber cybersecurity platform as a software engineer within the Cloud Security Engineering team.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop new detectors and security pipelines using Python.
• Implement CI/CD processes and DevOps workflows for cloud infrastructure.
• Design and code small to medium-sized features for security tools.
• Manage cloud resources and infrastructure as code.

Required Skills

• 5-8+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python proficiency.
• Primary cloud expertise in AWS, including deep understanding of cloud platform operations.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Ability to balance 65% coding, 25% DevOps, and 10% design work.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with FastAPI.
• Understanding of emerging practices for managing AI development tools.
• Background in cybersecurity, specifically authentication and authorization.
