Description

Secure cloud workloads, networks, and endpoints by deploying and configuring production security tools and services.

You will own the implementation of scalable access provisioning and least-privilege policies.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure security tools to monitor and protect cloud workloads, networks, and endpoints.
• Implement scalable processes for cloud access provisioning and maintaining least-privilege access.
• Partner with Product and IT teams to implement cohesive security solutions across hybrid cloud and SaaS environments.
• Automate security processes and practices to improve operational efficiency.
• Assess cloud security solutions and communicate technical risks and trade-offs to engineering and leadership.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering or related roles.
• Deep understanding of cloud, network, and infrastructure security.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security offerings.
• Proficiency in automation using Python, Powershell, or Bash.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, or Ansible.
• Ability to implement secure architectural design patterns in the cloud.
• Familiarity with security frameworks including NIST, ISO, Common Criteria, or OWASP.
• Understanding of compliance requirements such as FedRAMP, PCI-DSS, or HIPAA.
• Ability to document deployment diagrams and operational run books.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, IT, or Electrical Engineering.
