Description

Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, secure applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Own the technical delivery, security compliance, and team mentorship for GCP-based solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, scalable applications using GCP services including Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Cloud Functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Enforce best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines throughout the application development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure high performance and reliability of GCP applications.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering continuous learning and technical growth.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development and cloud engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Java, or Python for GCP application development.
• Hands-on experience with GCP networking, IAM, and security principles.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with GCP data solutions including Bigtable, Datastore, and Pub/Sub.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BigQuery and large-scale data processing.
• Proven track record of mentoring engineering teams.
