Job description:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud Security Operations (SecOps) Engineer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, strong knowledge of cloud-native security tools, and a deep understanding of incident detection and response in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents across AWS and Azure environments.
• Implement and manage cloud-native security services such as:
• AWS: GuardDuty, Security Hub, Macie, CloudTrail, IAM, Config
• Azure: Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Security Center, Azure Policy
• Perform threat hunting and vulnerability assessments in cloud environments.
• Automate security operations tasks using scripts and tools (Python, PowerShell, etc.).
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
• Manage and enforce cloud security policies and best practices.
• Maintain and tune SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel, etc.) and SOAR tools.
• Participate in incident response planning, tabletop exercises, and postmortem reviews.
• Ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide guidance on secure cloud architecture and remediation strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

• Deep hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud-native and third-party security tools.
• Strong understanding of IAM, networking, logging, and encryption in cloud.
• Experience with incident response, forensic analysis, and threat intelligence.
• Experience with SIEM/SOAR systems
