Description

You will lead the implementation, operation, and management of cloud security infrastructure and threat prevention strategies.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain AWS security solutions, next-generation firewalls, WAF, and container security.
• Manage threat prevention teams across perimeter, network, server, endpoint, and data loss prevention (DLP) domains.
• Oversee day-to-day operations for IDS, EDR/MDR, and security monitoring tools to enhance detection capabilities.
• Lead incident response processes, including triage, containment, investigation, and remediation.
• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities in cloud environments.
• Develop metrics and KPIs to report on the effectiveness of cyber defense operations.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience implementing and operationalizing cloud security solutions and infrastructure.
• AWS Security Specialty certification.
• Experience with AWS cloud compliance, logging, and monitoring configurations.
• Knowledge of cyber defense laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Proven ability to manage teams of cybersecurity professionals.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Technical expertise in network traffic analysis and security event log monitoring.

Preferred Skills

• CISSP, CEH, CISM, CompTIA CySA+, GIAC GCFA, GCTI, GCIH, or GREM certifications.
• AWS Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional certification.
