Description

Lead the implementation and operation of security infrastructure across AWS and perimeter environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain AWS cloud security solutions, next-generation firewalls, WAF, and container security.
• Manage threat prevention teams covering network, server, endpoint, mobile, and data loss prevention (DLP).
• Oversee day-to-day operations of cyber defense systems including IDS, EDR/MDR, and security monitoring tools.
• Lead incident response processes including triage, containment, investigation, and remediation.
• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in implementing and operationalizing cloud security solutions.
• Hands-on experience with AWS security services and AWS Security Specialty.
• Proven ability to manage teams of cybersecurity professionals.
• Technical expertise in perimeter security, network security, and endpoint protection.
• Experience with WAF, DDoS mitigation, and application firewalls.
• Knowledge of security logging, monitoring, and threat detection capabilities.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, CompTIA CySA+, or GIAC (GCFA, GCTI, GCIH, GREM).
• AWS Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional certification.
