Description

Manage and mature the threat prevention strategy, overseeing security system implementation across cloud and on-premise environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain AWS cloud security solutions, next-generation firewalls, WAF, and container security.
• Lead the Threat Prevention teams covering perimeter, network, server, endpoint, mobile, and data loss prevention.
• Oversee day-to-day operations for IDS, EDR/MDR, and DLP tools to ensure effective threat detection.
• Manage incident response processes, including triage, containment, investigation, and remediation.
• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience implementing and operationalizing cloud security solutions.
• Strong expertise in Cloud Security and Network Security.
• Experience managing Server, Endpoint & Mobile Security.
• Proven ability to manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS security services and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
• Knowledge of incident response, threat intelligence sharing, and security monitoring.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, AWS Security Specialty, or Solutions Architect.
• Advanced certifications including CompTIA CySA+, GIAC GCFA, GCTI, GCIH, or GREM.
