Description

You will manage and support large-scale Oracle database environments across on-premises and cloud infrastructures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle multi-tenant architectures, including CDB/PDB backups, restores, and upgrades from 19c to 23ai.
• Execute database patching using OEM fleet management and provisioning tools.
• Administer Oracle Apex and ORDS stacks, including setup on WebLogic and interfacing with Oracle HTTP Server.
• Automate routine tasks and job scheduling through shell scripting.
• Perform performance tuning, SQL rewriting, and database reorganization procedures.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in Linux environments.
• Expertise with Oracle 19c and above, including RMAN, Data Guard, and PL/SQL.
• 7+ years of experience with Oracle WebLogic (12c/14c), Fusion Middleware, and Oracle HTTP Server.
• 7+ years of experience managing Oracle Grid Control (13c or higher).
• 5+ years of experience with Oracle OCI, DBaaS, and cloud shell scripting.
• Extensive experience with Oracle Apex (19+), ORDS, and application stack administration.
• Proven ability to manage database backups, restores, and large-scale recovery.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, specifically RDS, EC2, ELB, and S3.
• Experience with SQL*Loader, Data Pump, and database character set migration.

Preferred Skills

• Amazon AWS certification.
• Experience customizing Apache FOP for PDF creation and Apex instance/workspace settings.
