Description

You will manage and maintain large-scale Oracle database environments across on-premises and cloud infrastructures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle multi-tenant architectures, including CDB/PDB backups, restores, and clones.
• Execute database upgrades from 19c to 23ai and perform quarterly PSU patching using OEM fleet management.
• Administer Oracle APEX and ORDS environments on WebLogic and Oracle HTTP Server.
• Automate database tasks and job scheduling through complex shell scripting.
• Support production environments through on-call rotations including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in Linux environments.
• Expertise in Oracle 19c and above, including multi-tenancy (CDB/PDB) and Data Guard.
• Extensive experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), DBaaS, and migrating applications from on-prem to OCI.
• Proficiency with RMAN for large-scale database backup and recovery.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 13c for provisioning and fleet maintenance.
• Advanced skills in Oracle performance tuning, SQL rewriting, and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing WebLogic (12c/14c), Oracle Fusion Middleware, and Oracle HTTP Server (OHS).
• Strong command of PL/SQL, shell scripting, and automation.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud technologies, specifically RDS, EC2, ELB, and S3.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Tablespace Encryption and Oracle Advanced Security tools.
• Familiarity with Restful Web Services and customizing Apache FOP for PDF creation.
