Description

You will manage large-scale Oracle database environments across on-premises and cloud infrastructures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle multi-tenant architectures, including CDB/PDB backups, restores, and upgrades from 19c to 23ai.
• Execute database upgrades and apply quarterly PSU patches using OEM fleet management and provisioning tools.
• Configure and support Oracle Apex and ORDS on WebLogic and Oracle HTTP Server.
• Automate database tasks and job scheduling through shell scripting.
• Perform database performance tuning, SQL rewriting, troubleshooting, and migration to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in Linux environments.
• Expertise in Oracle multi-tenant architecture, RMAN, Data Guard, and OEM 13c.
• 5+ years of experience with Oracle OCI, DBaaS, and cloud shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with WebLogic (12.2.1.3/12.2.1.4/14.1.2) and Oracle OHS.
• Proven experience managing Oracle databases using AWS RDS, EC2, ELB, and S3.
• Proficiency with SQL*Loader, Data Pump, and database character set migration.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware, Web Tier, Apache, and Tomcat.
• Experience with Tablespace Encryption and Oracle Advanced Security tools.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotations during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Skills

• Amazon AWS certification.
• Experience setting up ORDS in WebLogic managed servers.
