Description

You will engineer cloud-based services, focusing on REST APIs in C# and 3D scanning data processing applications on the Trimble cloud platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop REST APIs in C# (.NET) to interface C++ engines with the cloud.
• Build new 3D scanning data processing applications on the Trimble cloud platform.
• Integrate deeply with Trimble core services (Storage, Auth, UI) to meet ecosystem needs.
• Drive framework evolution by identifying bottlenecks and architecting optimizations or custom backend extensions.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience developing cloud applications.
• Proficiency with AWS or Azure technologies.
• Solid understanding of modern RESTful API design.
• Experience wrapping a Dockerized binary in a web service and managing data I/O.
• Strong skills in Docker, Terraform, C#, MongoDB, TypeScript, SolidJS, and Web Components.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Comfortable working within an international, English-speaking engineering team.
