Description

Design and build enterprise data solutions, ML pipelines, and secure AWS infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise data solutions using industry-standard architecture practices.
• Implement data migration, data delivery, and ML pipelines.
• Configure Identity Access Management (IAM) roles and policies to ensure secure environments.
• Build resilient, performant, and secure data platforms and applications.
• Automate deployments for AWS services and BI applications using CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in application/platform engineering, business intelligence, or analytics.
• 6+ years of experience with AWS cloud data engineering, management, or architecture.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services: S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, Kinesis, Data Pipelines, EMR, Step Functions, VPC, and IAM.
• Experience with data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake or Redshift.
• Proficiency with database technologies: SQL, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS Aurora, AWS RDS, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and automation: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and/or PowerShell.
• Experience configuring AWS cloud monitoring and alerts for resource availability.
• Ability to interpret enterprise-level application architecture diagrams and IT security requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale enterprise streaming services like Kafka.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker containers, or AWS Fargate.
• Experience implementing applications across Windows and Linux server operating systems.
