Description

You will design and implement cloud-based infrastructure for EQMS, covering front-end UIs, back-end services, databases, messaging systems, and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture design for cloud environments including Azure and AWS.
• Develop migration plans detailing timelines, resource requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Design solutions that meet specific safety, performance, and reliability requirements.
• Implement monitoring and alerting strategies to maintain system availability.
• Provide technical guidance to development teams and ensure security and compliance throughout modernization.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of practical experience in end-to-end system development.
• 5+ years designing microservices-based architectures using containerization and Kubernetes.
• 3+ years leading onshore and offshore development teams through the application lifecycle.
• Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms.
• Expertise in DBMS, including structured and unstructured database management.
• Experience with APIs, messaging systems, and service-oriented architecture.
• Proven ability working within Agile development methodologies.
• 5+ years of experience in the railroad or transportation industry.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Big Data, Event/Stream Processing, and Machine Learning.
• Experience working with globally distributed software development teams and third-party vendors.
