Description

You will lead architecture design and development for large-scale data platform modernization on Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solutions covering data strategy, storage, pipelines, flow, and security policies.
• Translate business requirements into technical artifacts and extensible architectures.
• Define data distribution and consumption patterns for downstream systems and consumers.
• Collaborate with data engineers, infrastructure specialists, and security teams to execute data strategy.
• Perform code reviews, identify performance bottlenecks, and develop reusable frameworks.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years as an Architect for Data & Analytics solutions.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Azure public cloud platform.
• High proficiency in Azure Synapse and strong understanding of database and data warehouse concepts.
• Deep knowledge of ADLS Gen2, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics SQL Pools, Databricks, and Power BI.
• Expertise in data modeling, data access patterns, virtualization, and SQL.
• Experience building Azure Data Factory pipelines using Data Flow, Stored Procedures, Azure Functions, and Control Flow activities.
• Experience with data integration via APIs, Web Services, SOAP, and REST.
• Proficiency with CI/CD orchestration and Agile tools including Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence.
• Proven experience in on-premises to Azure migration projects.
