Description

You will design, monitor, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure to support strategic state initiatives.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and configure AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, VPC, and RDS.
• Build new systems and maintain existing ones using standard DevOps processes.
• Manage database administration for Aurora Postgres DB.
• Deploy and automate software installations for Jira, Confluence, and qTest.
• Configure cloud security settings and research new technologies.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of IT experience in design and development of web and cloud-based applications.
• 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience (EC2, VPC, S3, EBS, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch).
• Experience designing serverless web applications using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting within Linux environments (Amazon Linux and CentOS).
• Experience with AWS CLI, Python, and PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of AWS Data Migration Services and disaster recovery architecture.
• Experience with AWS ECS, ECR, and Application Load Balancers.
• Experience with cloud network architecture (VPN, VPC peering, multi-account VPC).
• Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certification.
• Experience with Splunk (SaaS) for monitoring and SIEM.
• Unix Administration experience.
