Description

You will define solution architecture for cloud-native applications, balancing functional and non-functional requirements. You act as the subject matter expert for modern event-driven integration patterns, providing the business with standardized choices at the application, integration, and data persistence levels. You take technical ownership across all phases—define, build, operate, and iterate—ensuring architectures adhere to principles of reliability, security, performance, cost, and operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Assess open-source and cloud-native services to define solutions for specific business use-cases.
• Support development teams in implementing architecture using cloud provider best practices and constraints.
• Develop proof of concepts (POCs) to guide development teams on implementation strategies.
• Support DevOps teams in implementing CI/CD, monitoring, and automation for remediation.
• Propagate best practices and participate in organizational competency improvement programs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud solution architecture.
• Proficiency in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Strong background in JavaScript-based full stack web development.
• Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of data engineering pipelines, data warehousing, ETL, and analytics.
• Implementation of standards-based authentication frameworks (OpenID, SAML 2.0, WebIdentity).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins and AWS CodePipeline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience defining architectures for opinionated services with known constraints.
• Background in modern event-driven application integration patterns.
