Description

Lead cloud computing initiatives and direct architectural strategies for cloud brokering teams across IT and business functions.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and re-engineer applications to leverage cloud capabilities, specifically within AWS environments.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using microservices, containerization, and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Define blueprints and roadmaps for efficient cloud solutions and drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Integrate applications with third-party entities including Federal agencies, State agencies, and private firms.
• Provide technical oversight and architectural guidance for security, identity/access management, monitoring, and batch processing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture and design.
• Deep expertise in AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Proficiency with microservices, containerization, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS delivery models.
• Experience integrating with SSA, MMIS, EBT, IRS, DHS, and BCBS systems.
• Ability to provide technical oversight and quality control throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud Solutions Architect or Cloud Infrastructure Certifications.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering.
