Description

You will lead cloud computing initiatives by planning and engineering infrastructure and applications to support organizational goals in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and re-engineer applications to leverage AWS cloud capabilities.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using microservices, containerization, and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Define blueprints and roadmaps for building efficient cloud solutions with scalability and resilience in mind.
• Integrate applications with third-party entities, including federal and state agencies.
• Provide technical oversight, quality control, and operational guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture or a related field.
• Hands-on experience designing and building cloud solutions.
• Deep understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models.
• Experience with AWS services and cloud-native design patterns.
• Proficiency with microservices, containerization, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable software solutions.
• Experience with application modernization and technical lifecycle management.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud Solutions Architect Certification or Cloud Infrastructure Certifications.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering.
