Description

Design and deliver enterprise cloud solutions for customers, ensuring high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance. You will define operational procedures, KPIs, and monitoring frameworks while migrating workloads and resolving project risks. This role requires close collaboration with Product Management and Engineering to translate customer feedback into platform enhancements and architectural best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy cloud solutions across private, public, and hybrid environments using AWS, OpenStack, and VMware.
  • Define operational procedures, KPIs, health checks, and escalation protocols for customer environments.
  • Migrate workloads and develop mitigation strategies for ongoing project risks and pain points.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to review requirements and drive platform enhancements.
  • Document lessons learned, contribute to internal knowledge bases, and mentor team members on architectural best practices.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise cloud solutions and workload migration.
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS, OpenStack, and VMware.
  • Deep knowledge of Linux fundamentals and Internet protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, SSL, HTTP).
  • Experience designing high-availability, disaster recovery, and fail-over infrastructures.
  • Proficiency in database or application integration technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Open-Source architectures and agile/scrum methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Professional Cloud Solutions Architect (PCSA) certification preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working directly with Product Managers and Business Analysts.
  • Past contributions to open-source projects.
