Description

Lead cloud computing initiatives and direct architectural aspects of cloud brokering teams across IT and business functions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and re-engineer applications to leverage AWS cloud capabilities.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using microservices, containerization, and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Define blueprints and roadmaps for high-performance cloud solutions and drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption.
• Integrate applications with third-party entities, including federal and state agencies such as CMS, SSA, and IRS.
• Provide architectural guidance for security, identity/access management, monitoring, and batch processing applications.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in cloud architecture or a related field.
• Hands-on experience designing and building cloud infrastructure with deep understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models.
• Proficiency with AWS services and operational guidance.
• Experience with microservices, containerization, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable software solutions.
• Experience with enterprise security configuration standards.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud Solutions Architect or Cloud Infrastructure certifications.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Management Information Systems.
