Description

You will design and maintain cloud-native infrastructure and backend systems using TypeScript and Python.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage TypeScript monorepos using functional programming patterns with Effect-TS.
• Maintain CI/CD automation via GitLab pipelines, Bash scripting, and Renovate dependency management.
• Implement observability and security monitoring using OpenTelemetry, DataDog, Splunk, VeraCode, and SonarQube.
• Design and deploy scalable services on AWS using EKS, VPC, EC2, S3, and Cassandra/Keyspaces.
• Document architecture using Markdown, AsciiDoc, Structurizr, and PlantUML.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software or cloud engineering.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Python.
• Deep experience with AWS services including EKS, VPC, EC2, S3, ELB, Secrets Manager, ACM, Route53, and IAM.
• Hands-on experience with Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD workflows and GitLab pipelines.
• Experience with RESTful API design and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Expertise in testing frameworks including Bun, Jest, Vitest, and FastCheck.
• Competency with package managers such as pnpm, Bun, Poetry, and Nix.
• Understanding of OAuth 2.0 server-side implementation.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with build tools like Esbuild and Bun.
• Experience with linting tools such as ESLint, pylint, mypy, and flake8.
