Description

You will provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support for AWS infrastructure and applications in a hybrid role based in Dimondale, MI.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot AWS-related incidents and requests, providing tier 1 and tier 2 support within the ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain script-based solutions using Python, Bash, or AWS CLI to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Resolve ITSM ticketing at a tier-2 level and maintain accurate internal operations documentation.
• Monitor AWS systems for performance, reliability, and security while reporting anomalies to management.
• Collaborate with architecture and application support teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.

Required Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in technical support, specifically within an AWS environment.
• Proficiency in AWS services including EC2, S3, and SQS.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and AWS CLI for automation.
• Hands-on experience deploying PaaS within public cloud environments.
• Proven ability in developing IT infrastructure reports and producing internal operations documentation.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and identity management, including role-based access control administration.
• Experience resolving ITSM ticketing at a tier-2 level.
• Project management skills and familiarity with related methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in an information technology focus.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials or other relevant AWS training.
